Freedom, Bound: A history of shared struggle for collective liberation

We have a choice. In February 2017, Adalah and our partners will release Freedom, Bound, a community driven, multi-media exhibit that historicizes contemporary expressions of Black-Palestinian solidarity within the rich legacy of a dynamic international movement for freedom.

The exhibit will showcase decades of joint struggle against oppression, and offer visitors data and analyses illuminating why Black Americans and Palestinians choose to stand together in solidarity. In doing so, we reclaim our collective power to achieve historic justice and equality, and to build the world that we want.

Join Us. Our team has been collecting an array of artifacts - articles, books, pamphlets, letters, photographs, film, and poetry - but the collection is incomplete without your story, and without your artistic response.

Tell your story.
Do you have a reflection or an artifact to contribute? Freedom, Bound is accepting submissions for consideration until February 1, 2017.

Share work in response to the exhibit's themes. Juried selections will receive a monetary award and be part of the permanent collection.
