Nov. 15 - A Conversation on Settlers and Natives
A "History of the Present" event was closely related to our "Law" programming: “A Conversation on Settlers and Natives,” featuring Dr. Raef Zreik, of Tel Aviv University, and moderated by Naor Ben-Yehoyada of the Department of Anthropology. Zreik’s 2016 paper, “When Does a Settler Become a Native? (With Apologies to Mamdani),” was pre-circulated to the seminar. (Mahmood Mamdani is a founding member of the CPS Faculty Collective.)
